Pleomorphic adenoma, also called benign mixed tumor, is the most common tumor of the salivary glands.Usually they are found as solitary, unilateral, firm and mobile, painless, slow growing masses.Only 10% of here them occur in the minor salivary glands and 90% of them occur in the parotid gland.
